Ana Jovanovska, Macedonian artist and former MEXT student has been successful showing us her excellent works in Tokyo and neighborhood. Japan Macedonia society, JMS wants to share with you some of her recent wonderful activities. Thank you Ana for your contribution.
Ana Jovanovska is an award-winning Macedonian printmaker, graphic designer, and all-around artist based in Tokyo. Her art practice is rooted in observation and reaction to the current times, spaces, and emotions, reflecting their states within the contemporary discourse. She creates intuitively through re-examining and retelling narratives and memories, under the presumption that personal thought is conditioned by the structure of language itself. Recently, her main mediums of expression focus on sustainable papermaking, bookmaking, and writing.
